NTX 16U/AAA Baker - Dinner
NTX Top Team - Breakfast
NTX 12U/A - Book/Movie Drive
Team TFS NTX was once again blessed with the opportunity to serve at the Ronald McDonald House Dallas. The NTX teams spent Sunday February 24th at the Dallas house, NTX Top Team served breakfast, 16U/AAA with dinner, and our 12U/A collected over 130 books and movies for the in-house library.
"It was a great experience to provide a warm dinner to families who are under difficult times." says 16U/AAA Coach Baker. The teams are responsible for planning the meal, buying the ingredients, bringing everything into the commercial kitchen and cooking it there in the house. Serving and cleanup are in addition to these tasks.
Sundays "Meals that Heal" menu included "Happy Taco Time" breakfast taco's by our Top Team and dinner was Baked Ziti, Simple Salad, garlic bread, and gorgeous cupcakes as a sweet dessert.
The NTX 12U/A Taylor team worked hard collecting gently used and new books/movies for the in-house library at the Dallas location. This is special space where loved ones go for a moment of relaxation and calm away from the medical issues.
Team TFS NTX is blessed to serve others and will get another chance to serve the Dallas house in December 2019.
